CapCut is running a Black Friday sale on its paid plans from October 20 to October 30, 2026. CapCut’s official sale page says new and non-member users can get up to 60% off CapCut Pro for the first year, and eligible existing members can save 40% on CapCut Ultra. The offer is only available in CapCut Desktop (Windows and Mac), not in the mobile or web apps.

Who qualifies for the 60% discount
The headline 60% applies to CapCut Pro for new and non-member users. CapCut is clear that the offer you actually see depends on your account status, subscription history, operating system, platform and region, and that you need to sign in to CapCut Desktop to view your final price. In other words, “up to 60%” is the ceiling, not a guarantee: check the price shown in the app before you pay.
If you already pay for CapCut, the relevant offer is the 40% first-year discount on CapCut Ultra, which CapCut says is for eligible members who are not already on Ultra, on both Mac and Windows.
How to claim the offer
- Download and install CapCut Desktop for Windows or Mac.
- Sign in and choose CapCut Pro or CapCut Ultra.
- Select the annual plan and confirm the discounted first-year price shown for your account before paying.
Because the discount covers one annual term and then renews at the regular price, set a reminder before the renewal date if you only want the discounted year.
What you get with CapCut Pro
CapCut’s sale page lists a set of AI tools included with Pro. According to CapCut, these include:
- AI video generation in CapCut Desktop, which CapCut says is powered by Veo 3.1 and Sora 2.
- An AI design agent, powered by Nano Banana and Seedream 5.0 per CapCut, for generating product posters, ad visuals and promotional banners from a text prompt.
- Editing tools such as video translator, AI image generator, text-to-speech, background remover, AI color correction, premium templates and 8K export.
- Commercial use of CapCut Pro assets, including AI-generated videos, templates and music, according to CapCut’s FAQ.
CapCut’s own sale announcement also highlights AI Edit for refreshing product visuals, Color Remix for trying new shades and Design Studio’s text editing tools.

Is the deal worth it?
It is most useful if you already edit on a desktop and were planning to pay for Pro anyway: the discount applies to a full year paid up front. It is less useful if you mainly edit on your phone, since the offer is desktop-only, or if you only need CapCut occasionally, where the free plan may be enough.
