Documentation review and verdict
Official documentation checked October 6, 2026. The directory record remains LISTED; no product test or score was completed.
Picsart's public documentation describes creating clips from text or image inputs and making prompted edits to uploaded footage. Its editor guide also describes refining results with trimming, music and automatic subtitles. Documentation checked October 6, 2026; no clip generation, export timing or output-quality testing was performed for this review.
This makes Picsart a candidate to investigate when your task combines generated material with editing. Choose a concrete deliverable first, then check the inputs, model, duration, audio, output format and credit charge shown for that operation. This task-fit assessment is an editorial inference, not a measured comparison.
The credit guide distinguishes subscription allowances that reset each billing cycle from purchased add-ons that do not expire. Allow for revisions when estimating your budget, and inspect the selected plan's total payment and renewal terms. The old Gold price and broad capability lists are not used as current buying advice here.

Picsart: video creation and credit limits
Documentation checked October 6, 2026. This account of Picsart's workflow comes from its public product and help pages. We have not generated a clip, timed an export or assessed the quality of its results.
Picsart describes video generation from text prompts and images. Its AI Video Editor guide also describes uploading footage or an image, explaining the desired change, optionally adding references, and refining the result. The guide lists trimming, music and automatic subtitles among the follow-up editing options. These are documented capabilities, not a report of our experience using them.
Choose the workflow before the plan
Start with the material you already have. For a new scene, look at the generator's input and model options. For existing footage, check whether the editor supports the change and file type you need. Confirm duration, output resolution, audio and export conditions for your selected tool before paying; a capability shown on a product page does not establish that every model or plan includes it.
A practical evaluation brief might specify a short product clip, the intended platform and aspect ratio, the source material, and the exact text that must remain legible. Inspect the exported file for unwanted changes, continuity and audio issues. This is a suggested evaluation procedure, not a test we have completed.
Budget for generation credits
Picsart's credit guide says generative tools deduct credits, with the amount depending on the tool. Subscription credits reset at the end of the billing cycle; separately purchased add-on credits do not expire. The guide also says credits are returned when a generation fails to complete. We have not verified that refund behavior in an account.
Check the credit cost displayed for your chosen operation and allow for revisions. Do not assume that an editing subscription provides unlimited video generation. The pricing page presents monthly and annual billing options; review the selected plan, billing period, total charge and included credits together. We do not carry forward the old review's 2023–2024 price table or promise a universal free trial, watermark policy or refund entitlement.
Compare against your actual task
Our AI video guide covers other video workflows. If your deliverable is a still image, start with the photo editor guide; portrait work has a separate headshot guide. For a business project, use the business tools guide to separate the creative task from the rest of your process.
Our Jasper article covers a separate writing tool. The Tool Finder and comparison page can help organize a shortlist. These links do not represent a measured ranking or a claim that another tool is better than Picsart.
